Hello everyone, my name is Ken Sato, Representative of KKZ Consulting.
As a Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant and Small and Medium Enterprise Advisor (Management Support) of the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, I support small and medium enterprises in Japan and foreign nationals doing business in Japan with their management.
I have a total of 30 years of experience in the commercial (sales and marketing) field at a general trading company and a global pharmaceutical company, and have also participated in the management of overseas subsidiaries for a total of more than 10 years.

Business philosophy

As management experts, I will contribute to the realization of a society that is comfortable for everyone in through activities that support small and medium enterprises in Japan, regardless of domestic or foreign origin, which are "the foundation of society".

Background of Business philosophy

I am trained in dealing with domestic and foreign SMEs.

Fortunately, I have been able to reach the present day with the cooperation and support of many people, thanks to the small and medium enterprises(SME) and their business dealings that trained me strictly when I was a novice businessman in the days of a general trading company.
I have learned a great deal from the way they worked together to overcome the severe price competition in a market where the growth rate is slowing and the market is maturing, while at the same time working together passionately to adopt new products, which is a very real situation on the "economic front line".
Besides, more than 10 years of working as an executive in 2 foreign countries enabled me to recognize how much it is challenging to manage the enterprise in foreign country under different language and culture environment.
Now, it has been my turn to return favor for domestic and foreign SME owners.

The significance of providing a "one-stop service" on management assistance for foreign origin's owner of SME

Many small and medium enterprise(SME) owners, regardless of Japanese or foreign origin, are themselves on the front lines of management and are busy dealing with customers.
In particular, foreign origin's owner of SME needs to overcome culture and language barrier besides ordinary SME's challenge.
In such an environment, there are many advantages to utilizing a "one-stop service" that can cover multiple functions with a single point of contact. Needless to say, it is available to provide advices how to manage Japanese employees/staffs, taking into consideration their custom and behavior.
In many cases, using different service providers for each function of an organization or for each project not only means managing complex schemes, but also makes it difficult to gain a bird's eye view, which is important for management.
In terms of cost, it also tends to move away from the direction of efficient operation and management.

As a 「Small and medium enterprise management consultant」, I can support you to improve management based on strategies formulated from a company-wide, medium- to long-term perspective, while organically understanding the coordination of organizational functions and the issues they face through our "one-stop service".
